Our spies have managed to snap new photos of the 2014 Audi S1.
Set to debut early next year, the high-performance hatchback has a modified front bumper and a revised grille. While the front fascia closely resembles more plebeian variants, the rear end has an aggressive diffuser and a four tailpipe sports exhaust system.
Engine options remain unconfirmed but previous reports have indicated the car will use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces more than 200 bhp (149 kW). The final numbers remain a mystery but the limited edition A1 Quattro had 252 bhp (188 kW) which enabled it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 245 km/h (152 mph). Regardless of the final output, the S1 is expected to feature quattro all-wheel drive.
