Infiniti Q30 first image

Infiniti Q30 first image

Following a teaser published earlier this month, Infiniti has released the first image with the Q30 concept which is scheduled to be unveiled to the public on September 10 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Infiniti says the concept is "not a coupe, not a hatch and not a crossover but a fusion of the three body styles." Aimed at the young crowd, the Q30 wants to be something special in the competitive premium compact segment. According to previous reports, the car will feature a three-way adjustable ride height system and will ride on the Mercedes-Benz MFA platform used on the A- and B-Class models.
A production version has already been confirmed for a 2015 launch and it will be made at the Nissan facility in Sunderland which will be expanded to accommodate the production increase. At the moment, the plant produces 500,000 cars annually but this will be increased by at least ten percent in the years to come.
