Ferrari F12 SP America one-off spotted once again, looks like a modern 250 GTO

The unique Ferrari F12 Berlinetta-based SP America has been photographed once again in United States.

It was created through Ferrari's Special Projects division and was commissioned by the CEO of Wegmans, Danny Wegman, who reportedly paid somewhere in the region of $4 million. Based on the F12 Berlinetta, the SP America has a significantly different body which pays a stylistic tribute to the iconic 250 GTO, especially with the triple hood scoop and side vents.

There aren't any modifications underneath the reshaped skin so the SP America features the same naturally-aspirated V12 6.3-liter engine outputting 740 HP (544 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Powered is delivered to the rear wheels through an F1-derived dual-clutch transmission granting a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.1 seconds and a 211 mph (340 km/h) top speed.

When it came out in 2012, the F12 Berlinetta was Ferrari's fastest car ever made but now that role is attributed to the LaFerrari.
