The car is likely to get its public debut in January at NAIAS in Detroit or in March during the Geneva Motor Show. Shortly after that, the fixed roof F-Type will reach important European markets such as United Kingdom, France and Germany.
The engine lineup will be carried over from the convertible version so it will be available with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 providing 340 HP (250 kW) and 380 HP (279 kW). There will also be a larger supercharged 5.0-liter V8 outputting 495 HP (364 kW). Rumors are also hinting at an R-S version offering as much as 709 HP (522 kW) but powertrain details are not known at this moment.
