MW upgrades the 518d & 520d, features more power & improved efficiency

BMW has introduced the updated 518d and 520d in Germany.
First up, the 518d features a new 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo diesel engine that produces 150 PS (110 kW) and 360 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 6 PS (5 kW).
Likewise, the 520d gains a new 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo diesel engine that develops 190 PS (140 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. This is an increase of 6 PS (5 kW) and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) of torque.
Thanks to the extra oomph, "all the model variants – in both Sedan and Touring guise – accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) 0.2 seconds more quickly than their respective predecessors." Furthermore, fuel consumption has been reduced across the board.
