GM President hinted at the possibility of a Corvette Hybrid
Do you like this story?
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Reuss said a petrol-electric hybrid is a "very attractive idea" and "would be really fun to do." He added that developing a performance hybrid system would "build capability inside our company and I think people would love it."
That's far from a confirmation but a number of supercars have begun adopting hybrid systems to increase performance and reduce fuel consumption. The two most notable examples are the LaFerrari and McLaren P1. Both use an electric motor that delivers an extra 163 HP (120 kW) to 179 HP (132 kW).
