2016 Cadillac ELR to feature a number of "engineering enhancements"
Do you like this story?
Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell has confirmed the company is working on an improved version of the ELR.
Speaking to Edmunds, Caldwell said the model will benefit from a number of "engineering enhancements."
He declined to elaborate but confirmed there wouldn't be a 2015 ELR. Despite attempting to dismiss the news as a "technicality," the truth is pretty obvious - Cadillac only sold 774 ELRs through August so they have more than enough 2014 models to hold them over until the 2016 model arrives in the first half of 2015.
The 2016 ELR is expected to be debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, so expect to learn more in November.
