Automobile Magazine has released images depicting the first 2015 Ford Mustang tuning program from Roush.
The AM team was invited to have an exclusive sneak peek at the vehicle and the pictures from this private event show an aggressive aerodynamic kit finished in black. The tuners have replaced the radiator entire grille and front fascia, while there are also new hood vents and an optional hood scoop. At the back the car features a redesigned fascia and a new spoiler.
Roush claims some of the details like the front splitter and the rear diffuser actually improve the Mustang’s aerodynamic performance. The car benefits from new 20-inch wheels that are slightly lighter than the stock ones. The company has also put an optimized brake system.
Like the previous Roush Mustangs, the new model will be offered with different tuning kits. This time the structure is a bit different – the RS kit is designed for the V6 version, the RS1 is focused on the turbocharged EcoBoost Mustang and the RS2 is made for the range-topping V8 modifications.
The 2015 Roush Mustang will be revealed later this year with sales starting in 2015.
