Jeep details Euro-spec Renegade, new photo gallery released

Jeep has released additional information about the Euro-spec Renegade along with a new official photo gallery.
The compact SUV will be the first model of Jeep to be built in Italy and offered in more than 100 countries worldwide. Also, the vehicle, based on the Fiat 500L, is the first in its class to be available with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Set to go on sale in Europe in the fourth quarter of this year, the Renegade will come in four trim levels - Sport, Longitude, Limited and Trailhawk, while an Opening Edition model will be available at launch.
The Renegade will be offered with two MultiAir2 petrol engines with 140 PS (103 kW) and 170 PS (125 kW) and one E.torQ petrol unit with 120 PS (88 kW). On the diesel side there are two MultiJet II engines with 120 PS (88 kW) and 170 PS (125 kW). The 185 PS (136 kW) 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir unit will be available in Russia.
A choice of two manual, one dual-dry clutch (DDCT) and one automatic gearbox are also in the list. Customers can choose between 4x2 and two 4x4 systems - the Jeep Active Drive and the Jeep Active Drive Low.
