Lexus NF-NX concept breaks cover

Lexus will be showing at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show this strikingly angular NF-NX concept which will serve as a preview for a compact crossover production model.
Right from the start we notice the gigantic spindle grille with a diamond-shaped mesh giving the car an aggressive stance. The sharp headlights feature independent daytime running lights, while the side of the car shows a black protective finish for the muscular wheel arches. At the back there are boomerang taillights which have been detailed to project downwards to the full depth of the bumper.
The concept wears a bespoke Brushed Metal Silver exterior paint scheme and has a driver-focused cockpit with a dark grey look contrasted by the "sunrise yellow" leather and blue instrument lightning.
Technical specifications haven't been released but Lexus says the NF-NX comes with a new version of the company's hybrid system which has been specifically tweaked for this concept.
